An integral part of setting goals for a website is the ability to track those goals, and the paths which visitors take in order to complete them.  For precise "funnel" tracking (visitor path) we implement Google Analytics.

Google Analytics allows you to define goals and specific website paths to track conversion statistics.  When properly configured you will know exactly where you are losing visitors along the path.  These statistics will play an integral part in fine tuning the process and utlimately maximizing website conversion rates.
